Our Fundamentals program is for those looking to start CrossFit. Purpose built to develop in you a thorough understanding of, and a secure competency in, CrossFit's nine fundamental movements. We are strong believers in nurturing strong, solid fundamentals. They are the foundations from which your abilities and skills will develop, and they will allow enjoyment and success when participating in normal classes.
Remember, your progress should be safe, effective, and efficient. After an in-depth biomechanical analysis, your coach will provide you with an individualized approach to improving and removing whatever obstacles are found. This will ensure you're given the mobility, flexibility, stability, and strength to make the most of CrossFit and us. Once this is completed, the rest of the program will cover the nine fundamental movements, as well as stability exercises and other basic squatting, bending, lunging, pushing, pulling, twisting and gait based movements.
At this stage, it is also necessary that you begin to learn how to stay in control of your form as you fatigue. So at the end of each session, you will have the chance to pressure test your competency in short, fun workouts that'll give you exposure to multiple repetitions and exercises together. Rest assured, by the end of the Fundamentals program, you will feel comfortable performing these movements – you will own what you've learned and you will be ready to join our group CrossFit classes!
